Location

58 Korora Road , Waiheke Island, New Zealand

Arriving from Matiatia Ferry Terminal:
Fossil Bay Lodge is approximately a 4-minute drive or 30-minute walk from the Matiatia passenger ferry terminal in Oneroa. Private taxis are usually plentiful meeting most sailings in the summer months. Bike/eBike rentals are available inside the Matiatia terminal and car park.

Alternatively, use an ATHop card (you can purchase one Auckland-side from the Downtown Ferry Terminal or inside the Matiatia terminal on the island) to catch any bus in the Waiheke Link public bus system and disembark at the Waiheke Library stop. From there, walk down Korora Road until you reach our property. You will see 'Fossil Bay School' and 'Fossil Bay Lodge' signs outside of a large gravel car park when you've arrived. Head towards the courtyard with the olive tree to find our helpful map, tent guide, and shared facilities.

Arriving from Kennedy Point Ferry Terminal:

Fossil Bay Lodge is around a 12-minute drive from the Kennedy Point Ferry Terminal and the SeaLink vehicular ferry. Alternatively, use an ATHop card to catch the 501 Matiatia public bus and disembark at the Ocean View Road/Oneroa Village stop just outside Recycle Boutique in Oneroa. From there, travel along Ocean View Road towards the Waiheke Library and make your way down Korora Road to our property.
